We are looking to fill a position, based in Italy with an experienced Agronomist / Quality Manager.
The successful candidate will have:
-Knowledge and experience of at least one sector of the Italian Fresh Fruit industry
-Degree in Agriculture or Agronomy
-High motivation and drive
-Excellent communication skills with growers and commercial contacts
-Competent English language
-Willing to travel throughout Italy and occasionally other countries
The role will include:
-Visiting suppliers throughout Italy
-Reviewing quality at suppliers
-Communicating and developing Tesco standards for quality
-Developing Tesco standards and certifications
-Communicating to Tesco commercial and technical colleagues on a regular basis
-Finding and developing new sources
